To a certain north end club toting pink-washing “pride” slogans while your patrons slur derogatory, homophobic remarks when my friends come in and play a Joni Mitchell song on the jukebox: No we will NOT sit with you. I will not support you financially for allowing this to happen and for treating us like unwelcome trash. When my friend tried to level with you and discuss how it's not okay to accept this behaviour from your patrons, you got defensive, wouldn't listen and were unwilling to see past your own ego. I've always felt a sense of exclusion from this bar and I just chalked it up to my own anxieties. Needless to say, my intuition was correct and I won't be returning. P.S.
