@dartguy thanks for the link--I have been wondering where our labour standards have gone and why many supervisors see them as something they can choose to either respect or ignore. The work may need to be done, Frustrated Supervisor, but that does not negate the fact that the labour standards must be respected. Treating employees like you own them and their off time is extremely unintelligent and disrespectful to say the least. Maybe if you treated your employees with a little more decency, they actually would give a little more of their personal time to help you make your business ends meet. Maybe you need to take a hard look at your business plan or model, and try making improvements there, instead of expecting hard working employees to be at your behest during their personal time.

I am so sorry that this happened to you. I hope your day got better and that your grandson is OK.
