I strongly agree. During the summer, I have to work early mornings, before the busses are running. I used to bike to work, but last summer I had to bike to the Macdonald, wait for the shuttle, go around the basin and then get to work. It meant basically I had to get up at 3 in the morning to get to work. I can't wait for an open bridge this year!
I currently go to the dental school at Dalhousie, and on Monday night, we have the ISANS patients in. I really wish that there were private practices that would do some pro bono work, though. Refugees who have gone to Cape Breton would have to drive a 3 hour trip (or an expensive 8 hour bus ride) just to see us. It's nice that they can come here, with our interpreters, but accessibility is difficult.
