Best Aesthetician

Gold Winner Katherine Hanlon, ZigZag Hair Studio

Silver Winner Ashley Wittenberg, Remedy Facial Bar & Spa

Bronze Winner Saskia Roch Aesthetics

“I wasn’t a little girl going, ‘I want to be a Brazilian waxer,’” says Katherine Hanlon, laughing. Really, she wanted to work with people, and being able to boost their confidence was a bonus that lead her to become an in-demand aesthetician who’s given more Brazilians than she can count. Now, Hanlon has regular clients that travel from the valley and New Brunswick just to see her, usually for waxes but for manis, pedis or makeup, too. “People need to be able to come into the spa and be distracted from what I'm going to do,” she says of her rapport with her regulars. “I'm just being myself and it’s so nice that that's being recognized.”
