Best Chicken Wings

Your Father’s Moustache, 5686 Spring Garden, 423-6766

Thursday is wing night at Your Father’s Moustache and in the summer that means 15,000 wings flying out of the fryers and onto plates. Owner Shaun O’Hearn says one reason his wings are the best is because they’re big. Another is the crunch factor. “Wings here are very crispy—not tossed in sauce,” says O’Hearn. “The sauce [hot, suicide, blue cheese, barbecue or honey garlic] comes on the side. The wings come in with some spice but more gets added and we bread them ourselves. I love them.” And, obviously, you love them too. On wing night you can order the best wings in town in plates of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 or 50.

Runner-up: Oasis Pub and Eatery, 5675 Spring Garden, 422-2227
