This diner’s plenty-of-fish chowder makes the trek down the Bedford Highway worth it. Supervisor Jason Alward says the recipe has been consistent for almost 40 years, so loyal patrons and newfound lovers can enjoy the same bowl every time they visit. “I’d recommend the chowders to anyone,” boasts Alward, “but the seafood is the favourite among our locals.” Packed with freshly caught haddock, lobster, clams and scallops, and brimming with heavy cream, this chowder doesn’t have to work hard for your affection.
