Best DVD Rental Store

Video Difference

Not only does Video Difference play the best tunes of any video-rental store in town, it has a gumball machine on the counter and paintings direct from the wonderfully wacky mind of Mitchell Wiebe. Not to mention the incredible selection of boxed sets and the thorough documentary section, which, according to owner Tom Mitchell, takes up about 20 to 25 percent of the store’s floor space. But what makes the Dif’ really special is that the staff listens to you. Mitchell says their customer request program has become really popular. And it’s easy. You fill out a form, the staff “searches the world for the film,” and once it arrives it goes out on the request rack along with your name, superstar. 6086 Quinpool, 425-3029
