Best Female Theatre Actor

Gold Winner Stephanie MacDonald

Silver Winner Susan LeBlanc

Bronze Winner Mary Colin Chisholm

Stephanie MacDonald spent the past year performing alone and in ensembles, down in Wolfville, on Gottingen Street and over at the Dublin International Gay Theatre Festival in productions as disparate as Lee-Anne Poole’s queer comedy Short Skirt Butch, the fact-based drama Watching Glory Die for Mulgrave Road and Valley Summer Theatre’s production of Marion Bridge, for which she snagged a Merritt. Upcoming are a new show with Daniel MacIvor, a remount of MacIvor’s Marion Bridge at the Neptune Studio in February and a Bryden MacDonald script in the spring. “This is so very, very nice,” MacDonald offers humbly. “Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
