Hobo With A Shotgun

When Hobo With A Shotgun won in this category back in November, the movie wasn’t even out. No one had seen it. But the expectations were clearly high, and when Jason Eisener’s picture hit cinemas in May, Hobo delivered guts, gore, violence, armoured villains, octopus tentacles and more than a few laughs, all against a recognizably grim Halifax and Dartmouth backdrop. The geysers of blood made fans internationally, from Sundance to positive reviews in Rolling Stone Magazine. We all loved it and Jason Eisener has his career.

It isn't even out yet, as this reader acknowledges, but people already love it.
“It doesn't exist yet! But it's the best!”

First Runner-up: Roller Town
Second Runner-up The Corridor
