Best Halifax Member Of Legislature

Danny Graham

He’s been in politics just three years and has already experienced the highs and lows of the business. Last fall, the Halifax Citadel member stepped down as leader of the Nova Scotia Liberal Party to have more time with his wife, who was diagnosed with cancer. He initially thought the hardest part of being a politician was knocking on doors, now he finds it’s one of the things he likes best. “Being in the community and meeting people daily is the best part of the job,” Graham said. “I guess I’m more of an A-type personality than I thought.”

1st runner-up: Darrell Dexter, Cole Harbour

2nd runner-up: Maureen MacDonald, Halifax-Needam
