“Hells Bells always win; they always have the seat rooted,” says Dana Boulton of the AC/DC tribute band. Not this year. After two and a half years of electric chairs, decapitated dolls and, of course, music, My Other Brother Alice finally reigns as your favourite cover band. Boulton, who some swear becomes Alice Cooper at the tribute band’s shows, says that unlike other bands who will (mercifully) remain nameless, MOBA did not launch any voting campaign amongst its fans: “We didn’t even know about it,” he says. “They just feel the love, man. It’s mayhem. It’s such a beautiful thing, but you gotta see it to appreciate it.” A lot of you already do.
