Best Member Of Parliament

Gold Winner Megan Leslie

Silver Winner Geoff Regan

Bronze Winner Peter Stoffer

NDP MP Megan Leslie is a busy lady, making time for public events—most recently as Hal-Con parade’s grand marshall, dressed as a member of the NDP Starfleet—hosting art openings featuring the work of local artists for her constituents at her community office on Gottingen Street and speaking eloquently and passionately about issues close to Canadians in parliament. Diplomatically, Leslie credits the great readers of this very paper for her win. “Best MP? Well, I’m chuffed. Just tickled. And I think Coast readers are a smart, savvy and sophisticated bunch, who have pretty great taste,” says Leslie. “More people should read The Coast.” Aw, thanks.
