Best New Restaurant

Brooklyn Warehouse

Since September 2007 the corner of Windsor and Almon has played host to a stylish and increasingly popular neighbourhood cafe. Started by father and son team Leo and George Christakos, The Brooklyn Warehouse has filled a void in the north end and the public has responded. It helps that the food is as fresh as the decor, sourced from local producers, winemakers and breweries, with the Christakoses heading down to the Farmers' Market on Saturdays to find the best that area farmers have to offer. 2795 Windsor, 446-8181

First runner up: It's All Greek To Me
