Best Place To Impress Out-of-towners

Waterfront

OK, let’s see. It’s got a boardwalk lined with museums, shops, restaurants, pubs, a crystal factory, a casino and a huge concrete tongue. Err, sorry, a concrete wave. There are sailboats and buskers in the summer and it’s still pretty great in the winter. What more could you possibly ask for? Well, how about a tugboat with giant eyes wearing a red baseball cap? If that doesn’t impress your jaded American cousin nothing will.

Runner-up: Peggy’s Cove
