Best Pub food

The Granite Brewery, 1222 Barrington Street, 423-5660

Burgers, fish and chips, bangers and mash: sounds like pretty standard pub fare, but according to you, Granite Brewery does it better than all the rest (which is saying a lot when you consider the number of pubs we have in this city). Perhaps it’s all in the little details, like the hand-cut french fries, or maybe it’s that the kitchen uses no prepared foods in any of its dishes. Whatever the case, it sounds like Granite Brewery has all the bases covered.

Runner-up: Maxwell’s Plum, 1600 Grafton, 423-5090
