Best Restaurant Idea

Voters sent in some very creative ideas, including last year’s number one idea—bring your own wine. Although the BYOW idea made it to number one, it should drop off the list with the arrival of Milano’s, the Italian eatery that does encourages patrons to bring their own vino. Some of last year’s ideas, like a tapas bar and Quizno’s, came to fruition this year; some dropped off the list to make room for new ideas like a Mongolian barbecue and Mexican taquiera. Not sure we’ll ever see some of the more offbeat ideas like “kill your own game” and “house of pain and waffles,” but it’s good to know the vivid imagination is alive and well in the SuperCity.
