We’re a far cry from the baloney and cheese-slice sandwiches you grew up with. Think more along the lines of citrus mayo, pickled carrots, fresh cilantro and chili, those just a few of the reasons Indochine’s sandwich scores big. A serious love for the Vietnamese bahn mi is what pushed Liz Smith to open her South Park Street restaurant back in 2010, and it’s the kind of love you can taste in every bite. Don’t forget to wash it all down with a bubble tea; ice-cold infusions with tapioca balls floating on the top. With a second location now open on Barrington Street, the banh mi empire can only grow as more people become aware of this sandwich revolution.
