Rock and roll trio The Space Age released the My Own Tonight EP this spring, produced by AA Wallace at Sonic Temple, with four songs that included the title-track written by the late, great Jay Smith, which charted on campus radio stations. “Why vinyl?” asks guitarist/lead Andy Patil. “We love it. We’re all vinyl aficionados and we’re all from the generation where it was a common format, but now it’s back. Also, vinyl can’t be beat for this style of music, the post-punk power-pop vibe. It’s the first in a series of many more vinyl to come.”
