Christmas on the Town

The Halifax Club is decorated for the season with towering Christmas trees and twinkly lights. The tables are decked and the silver is shiny. During the holiday luncheon and dinner shows, patrons are entertained by the soaring harmonies of The East Coast Carolling Company. It’s not traditional dinner theatre, but rather a combination of favourite Christmas tunes, audience sing-a-longs, seasonal stories and corny jokes. The quartet sings everything from the 15th century “Boar’s Head Carol” to the more modern “Let it Snow”. The luncheon meal is a yummy traditional turkey dinner with apple pie for dessert.  As one satisfied customer proclaimed, “What a lovely way to start the holiday season!” –Kate Watson
