So I just picked up my media kit and I'm ready to go. All of the important papers come in a fancy-pants bag that, when accompanied by a lanyard, scream "I'm an important dude." (Photo soon.) If I had a cell phone or a Blackberry I would want to take my bag and walk down Spring Garden to call some other important dudes, but alas, my pockets are filled with quarters and I have another fancy new bag that I bought in Camden Market this summer which I like to show off.

So, instead I shall troll around anonymously through the next 10 days of film watching. Here's where you might find me, or not: The Stone Angel, Frame x Frame 1 & 2, anything with Albert Maysles, any of the short film programs, Mr. Dial has something to say, The Tracey Fragments, the Peter Greenaway talk, Poor Boy's Game (I'll be the one with my eyes closed and fingers in her ears---I hate, hate, hate movie punching), Angel, Reservation Road, Scouts are Cancelled, Normal, Almost Adult, Forever, Scott Walker and the one I'm looking forward to the most, Control, the Anton Corbijn biopic of Joy Division singer Ian Curtis. And there are more that I'm most definitely forgetting.

One place where you may not see me toting a bag is at tonight's party. I'm excited to see Heavy Blinkers and Buck 65, but will I feel like it after a movie about genocide (Shake Hands with the Devil)? Not so sure about that.(SCF)
