Apparently I am supposed to have a bio. To be interesting. Hm, I dunno... I'm a liberal hippie creative type with a job in "the…
Oh man thank you for this article. This has bothered me my whole life.
How any of the above commenters could fail to understand the basic inequity of the male/female prefixes is completely beyond me. And, I suspect, the commenters do actually understand, and are simply lashing out without thinking. Or perhaps they are simply being trolls. Who knows?
"Mrs/Miss" indicates marital status. "Mr" does not. The notion that knowledge of a woman's marital status is necessary information and knowledge of a man's is unnecessary is archaic and we should be moving past it.
The equivalent to "Mr." is "Ms." It's not complicated.
OP you gotta be kidding me. Let this be the last time you ever send a message to one of your siblings' sex/love/whatever partners.
She dumped him. It's none of your business and there's no possible way you could have helped his cause with your weird message.
Never ever again that's reeeeal weird
@ZAPH Yeah, Yuk Yuk's is open on those days, but the award was for Best Comedy Night. And it this case, it was awarded to Yuk Yuk's Amateur Night (fridays, I think it was) and that night does not exist.
I think this is a valid bitch, it sucks that 'Best Comedy Night' was awarded to something that hasn't existed for years. If enough people had written "Santos L. Halper" in the category for Best Barista (or whatever), would the coast have printed that?
It's pretty glaring evidence that The Coast doesn't give two shits about comedy. I guess nothing says they have to, but it would be nice. I mean, aren't event listings a huge part of what they do? Music is great, but what about the other indie shows - theatre and comedy and film nights and whatnot? Those are events too. Just saying
Fuck you and your "lesbians are better than bisexuals" BULLSHIT.
Some people are assholes, and treat other people like shit. Lesbians are just as likely to break a heart as ANYONE ELSE. Why is it more hurtful if a partner cheats on you with a man? What fucking difference does that make?
It always surprises me when lesbians lay this kind of shitty prejudice on bisexual women. I guess it shouldn't.
This isn't really a "love". It seems a lot like a mean, prejudiced, BITCH.
...your "scathing" ass?
Yeah. A moment a silence isn't how you grieve? That's fine. But it clearly WAS a way for the 1000 people around you to grieve. Who are you to take that away from them?
