The corner of Prince and Argyle isn’t just the landmark building that was once the Carleton Hotel, but a landmark on the live music scene, too. Mike Campbell’s The Carleton has been earning its reputation for great tunes and great times since 2008, winning Venue of the Year awards from both Music Nova Scotia and the East Coast Music Association. But in 2014 it upped the ante by giving its stage and seating a facelift, and freshening up the menu with the help of Jane Wright. Check out the brunch, crave the frites, stay for the songs.
