My fiancé and I are looking for a venue that can hold about 200 people. Our preference would be to have a bar on site and bring in catering of our choice. I'm noticing that most venues try and do their own catering and we don't want that. —Tracy
We are having a low-key cottage wedding where family and friends will be performing (kitchen partyish) so we don't want to do the DJ/Band thing. I'm not big on the idea of using random iPods and love the old-time feel of the jukebox. Can't seem to find any for rental---help?! Thank you. —MissKitty
We are getting married at the St. Mary's Boat Club and are looking to hire a bar. They do not provide one. I know of Certainly Cinnamon but is there anywhere else? —Kate
Wondering if anyone could share some helpful tips on how they went about preparing for a cocktail wedding reception. We are required to use our venue's catering company and thankfully they have some wonderful options for this our all-in-one place wedding and reception. I'd love to hear how to go about planning for this type of affair and any advice, good or bad, you might have about how it all went down. Thanks! —Chantal
My wedding is July 30th in Halifax and I need to rent chocolate brown table overlays and maybe paper lanterns for decor purposes. Does anyone have a suggestion? My email is andrea.lecky@gov.ab.ca - Thanks! —Andrea
Hey ladies, does anyone have an recommendation for DJs here in Halifax? I would like to keep the cost around $400 and a light show is NOT necessary. Thanks.
