Now HRM get off your ass and please - install more garbage cans!!

Did you know that people can litter OUTSIDE of Downtown Halifax??

I know the Harbour Hopper attracts a lot of tourism and they'll see how "clean" we are...but we need more garbage cans/bins everywhere else in the city!!

I live on Robie - and walking my dog is a pain in the ass because he'll try to eat the foods that people carelessly toss behind. Also - if there was a garbage at every bus stop - it'd be easier for people trying to get on the bus to be able to throw away their coffee cups or chip bags without leaving a mess for everyone else to step in.

Also it'd be much more of a benefit for pet owners, as they would be able to toss their dog's shit bags in the garbage cans instead of not picking it up at all.

Don't just promote cleanliness every 20 feet in downtown Halifax and leave the rest ignored.

*Does anyone know who I should write into in regards to this request??**

Garbage Cans Would Be Great
