|Employers Pay attention!!!!|
|I would just like to know when it became acceptable for employers to expect their employees to put in 110% effort while being paid casual wages ( or NON- DECENT wages) with NO benefits what so ever. Or they make the employees pay partial to have benefits, it is ridiculous! |
Come ON People! why do you think we are losing so many to out young or even middle age people to out West, TO or even the States. People pay for an education only to take this wonderful new resource away from Nova Scotia. People enough is enough. We are being over run with call centers and people who chose to live in our beautiful province have their choice of any number of these- or to break their backs in the service industry.
It is really a problem that is getting larger and is not going to go away until employers start to see their employees as ASSETS.
It has become acceptable to offer $10 /hr for fulltime office work with no benefits, bare minimum of vacation, and your are expected to accept this position without receiving training. Labourors are being paid $12 /hr without proper papers, sick benefits vacations. ETC
We are becoming a breeding ground for more Unions to come in and Great employees to go out.
there is simply NO INCENTIVE to stay and work in a province that the employers care so little about their employees!!!!
If you read this and work for a company that pays decent wages, full benefits, a chance for a pension, Please respond. I'd love to hear where and how many companies are in NS that actually do this aside from the call centers!
