I still don't get it...
It's that time of year again...Pride Week. Why O' why do gay folks need a parade? Can someone explain this to me? I can only guess it's to create awareness and sensitivity towards homosexuality. And yes perhaps a parade could accomplish such things. But

Does the LGBT community feel as though they have accomplished something?

It really is time to move on don't you think? The first few years caught everyone's attention but now more and more people couldn't give a rat's ass about gay pride.
