Lesson learned
|
So, from what the police have been telling us, I've learned the following:
If you've been drinking & are involved in a fender bender (or worse), make sure you leave the scene of the crime. Go home, and sleep it off to make sure all the alcohol (or drugs) are out of your system. If and only if there's any publicity, then report it to the police. Make sure you're a high ranking gov official though or else they'll be all over your ass to lay charges. Leaving the scene of a crime is a crime in itself. However, the moral of the story here is that if you're well connected, nothing will happen. Even if you've already been guilty of conflict of interest. Oh ya, that shouldn't have come out as well. Damn you reporters.
