I am all for conserving energy but LED Christmas lights suck. For example - the tree on the Bi-Hi that is adorned for thousands of commuters is now draped with hundreds of these crappy lights - probably three times as many lights as last year's regular bulbs and you can barely see it. It seems that lots of people had to rush out and get the latest trend in holiday lighting - many of them in some bizarre blue-purple combination. That is not Christmas! Anyone decorating their homes with these lights might save on the old electricity bills but there will be no ooohs and aaahhhs from kids and adults looking for a bright, magical holiday season. Boring. String up your old lights for a couple weeks, pay a couple extra dollars and brighten up Christmas!
