A big ol' 'f-you' to the huge faceless company that moved my partner and I from Halifax to Ottawa. I guess paying $3000 doesn't guarantee any sort of quality service. You were more than friendly at the time of signing away our possessions, taking the cheque and taking off in the huge tractor trailor. But then I get a phone call...two nights before I'm supposed to move. The move is now going to be a day earlier. What the f***??? I didn't pay for it to be a day earlier, nor would I be there to unpack it...oh, and I really like the part where you told me I must have made the mistake. Funny how I kept all my correspondence to your company and there in plain text is you guys making the mistake. So another f*** you for calling me a liar. Anyways, you tell me I have to pay to put it in storage, and pay again to move it. What?!?!? You make a huge mistake, think you're going to make me pay for it, and problem solved?!?!?! Think after spending $3000 on your dumbass company I'm giving you another $1000??? Doubt that!!! I got my friend here to take a day off work and f***ing come over to be present for when they dropped off our shit. Oh, but it gets better!!! They tell him, the morning they show up, they can't move our stuff because it's a blacklisted street, so once again, we're given the option "put it in storage, move it yourself, pay for it yourself, deal with it".....luckily some cars moved and the move went on...but how the f*** should we know if a street is blacklisted??? Isn't that what our moving rep should have known?!?!? What really gets me, is the fact you're a huge moving company that prides itself on some sort of good reputation...yet we get treated like shit the whole time, go through a ridiculous amount of stress when moving is stressful enough as it is, and your manager doesn't even have the balls to address the situation or admit his company f***ed up. Well, we're young, we'll be moving again, as will many of our peers and family...and we sure as hell will be warning them of you bastards.
