To the two clueless 20-something girls who were walking on the north side of Citadel Hill, last Friday afternoon: I understand that it was piss pouring rain and hence your socks got sopping wet and dirty, but did you really need to strip them off your stinking feet and toss them on the sidewalk? For God's sake, you even had plastic shopping bags with you that you could have used to carry them. Those of us who participate in community clean-up projects have enough paper coffee cups to deal with, without your mouldy laundry to add to it.

I was the person who passed you and gave you a big ole dirty look as I went by, mostly because I lacked the courage to say something- I had gauged you as little hoodlums. I now definitely regret not speaking up and as a consolation to myself, I sure hope you read the Coast.

Grossed out & fed up
