Stop Breaking the Law
|
Dear Adults of Halifax,
Stop breaking the law! Right now!
If you don't like a law, or think it is stupid or unenforcable, then get it changed! Stop jaywalking, speeding, parking illegally, littering, etc. If we, as citizens of Halifax, aren't willing to stop behaving like criminals, then how can we expect our children to respect the law? We have what is practically an epidemic of law-breaking among youth, and is it any wonder? We live with these laws that practically everyone breaks, and instead of having them changed, we instead teach our children that some laws are ok to break. Let's fix this.
P.S. Dear Youth of Halifax, you could try being extra-lawful just to rub our noses in it, eh?
