I have read the coast since you started (thank you) and every three months or so we get some sort of whiney "my-bike-was-stolen-and-I'm-a-poor-student-who-has-no-other-way-to-get-to-school/work blah blah blah" rant. please stop. We get it. Having your bike stolen sucks. We understand. We don't care. In my 44 years on this earth I have yet to meet somebody who had their bike stolen, nor have I ever been induced to purchase a used/stolen bike. None of my friends ever had a bike stolen. Of course, they are smart, use a good lock, and store their bike inside their home. I think that the bike stolen bitches are actually the same person writing in year after year. And if not, well then it's a student life experience, sort of like loosing your virginity but not as fun. Everybody goes through it. Move on.

older, wiser, never had a bike stolen
