Today, I was witness to one of the most completely inconsiderate acts of human douchebaggery that I have EVER seen. What can I do but sit back and question the very ethics and foundations that we, as parents and educators are instilling in our young people today. Case and point:
I actually saw a young man stand by and watch an elderly blind woman stumble across Robie street and into the way of traffic heading up and down Almon street. He didn’t even batting a fucking eyelash at this poor woman who was obviously having a hard time. She didn’t just cross the white line here...We’re talkin’ COMPLETEY missing the side of Robie she was aiming for and winding up in the middle of Almon street. Had I not had my baby daughter with me, I would have gotten out to help her myself. I mean what the fuck is wrong with today’s youth? I couldn’t believe my eyes that this fuckin’ cock shiner just friggin’ stood there while a fellow human struggled and consequently was put into a potentially harmful situation because HE didn’t want to take the time to reach out and help. I just sit back and shake my head and feel ashamed to be a member of this ungrateful species. Get your selfish heads out of your ungrateful asses and HOPE like fuck there is someone like me around when you’re in YOUR time of need.
