Please keep in mind, I live in a building in Clayton Park. My landlord is really starting to piss me off. Here's a rundown of what hapened so far:

When we moved in, they gave us thre separate move in dates, claiming they weren't ready for us. They gave us the final date, the truck was booked and they told us they weren't ready. We could move in, but everything had to stay in the living room, and we had to be out by 8 am every morning because "They weren't going to work around us." We said ok, whatever and dealt with that.

Then, theycome by one morning, ringing the buzzer and knocking on the door, demanding we sign the inspection right then and there, not even giving us the tour. The in inspection said the following:

Cupboards newly painted and fixxed - Not really. The cupboards dont even have a finish on them, or all the pegs in to support it. We cannot use one of out shelves because of this.

Fridge: Brand new, cleaned. - Bullshit. Our fridge leaked for 5 solid months. I'll ge further into this in a bit.

Lights repaired - Again, a miss. all of our light ixtures are cracked.

We have holes in our walls, we're missing tiles for the floor and my room mates can't open their window in the bedroom because they have no screen and we have cats. We're on the ground floor.

I put in a maintainance repair request form like I was told to, and they told me to make sure everything was away from the back of the fridge so it didn't clog, and come see them again. When I went back up, the office door was shut and the lady in there was no where in sight. Our fridge has now leaked all over our kitchen floor and warped the linoleum. It took me threatening them with the tenancy board to take the 5 minutes o fix the damned leak.

Yeah, I know because we have cats that our apartment stinks. That doesn't mean they have to stand in the office when we walk in the front door and say, loud enough for me to hear and no one else "They stink, they stink, they stink." It was enough or me to tell him to shut his mouth. We look after it as best we can

I ran into him again in the hallway today, and as I was walking to my father's apartment (yes, I live in the same building as dad), he was at the other end of the hallway, and once again said, only loud enough for me to hear "We're not going to take your bullshit anymore." It was at this point I stoped in my tracks and said Ï've already asked you repeatedly not to talk to me. Once more and it counts as harassment."

The property care taker seems to think that the world owes him something so everyone else should bend over and take it. Now, I'm standing up. I will not be pushed around anymore by this jerk. When ever someone says something he doesn't like, he gets angry and turns purple. He's nothing but a bully, and

I wont stand for it. This is war, I have pictures of the apartment.

Now for the big issue: When they were in fixing our fridge, there was an arguement that broke out, and one of my room mates, to prove a point, dumped a bit of water from our fridge onto the floor. Well guess what? Some of that water splashed on the lady who works in the office and now we're being evicted for assault.

Finding a better company.
