Bad postering tactics
I am a musician passing through town and went to your lovely market on Saturday. There were two women postering, the younger was putting up posters for the Symphony among other things, I watched her look for spots and take down stuff that was done. Then

There were two women postering, the younger was putting up posters for the Symphony among other things, I watched her look for spots and take down stuff that was done. Then this older woman posterer came along with a bunch of posters and was covering up other peoples posters including parts of the posters the first woman put up.Thats bad news! I have seen it across the country, whenever this stuff starts to happen, posterers start tearing each others posters down and the walls get messy and the people putting on the shows get in trouble and people start getting pissed off at the posterers and then all kinds of rules appear about where you can and can't put up posters and it becomes restrictive. If you put up posters, don't cover other peoples up, you can always find ways to make it work and if there is no room THERE IS NO ROOM!
