News insensitivity
|
Dear news papers, television news stations and online sources of news:
When something terrible happens and someone gets seriously injured or dies, keep you graphic images of blood spatter and body bags out! I know there are sick people who want to see this stuff and it therefore sells papers, ups ratings and gets hits, but it's incredibly disrespectful, offensive and completely unnecessary. I don't need to see that to understand that the incident was serious. Those victims have families, and I'm sure those families don't appreciate having their loved one's remains strewn all over the media for all to see. Have some respect. The news can't be entirely about making money.
