PAYG
|
I went into a cellphone store to buy a PAYG cellphone for my son. I got in the LINE. I waited my turn. When it got to be my turn, the sales person answered my questions, explained the differences between the two different phones we were looking at, gave his opinion. This took less than five minutes because we were already pretty sure what we wanted - and since we had people waiting for us in the mall I was tyring to get things done quickly. so - GREAT, I think that this is all going very well. I make a choice, I get out my wallet, I walk to the cash register, he gets the product out of the supply room, I hand him my credit card and he says, "actually, these people were here before you and they have some questions." and walks away from the sale to another group of people - who - as far as I can tell - were waiting in the line BEHIND me.
I hope they left without buying anything too - then that's two commissions you would have lost out on you idiot.
