It was last Thursday and the snow and rain made it almost impossible to see, let alone walk. I jumped on the bus (better to be on the bus than under it, I always say) and couldn't find my transfer. I assured the driver that I had one, but I couldn't find it in my over-stuffed and snow-sodden bag. The driver told me not to worry about it ("it's really miserable out there") and gave me a ride anyway.
When I finally got home, I found the damn transfer (it was in my pocket, of course.) So even if the weather sucked, this was one time when Metro Transit actually didn't.
Thanks, #80 bus driver.
