Ignorant Halifax

To the lady who stared at me the entire time we were waiting for the number 18 to show up in Clayton Park, and then proceeded to push me out of the way to get on the bus and only mumble "Sorry", Learn some manners.

It is people like you that I'm looking at leaving the city, despite everyone telling me it's "Nice and accepting and why would you want to leave?". I'm sick of all this BS. Maritimers need ot learn some manners, especially for those of us who don't conform to society's standards of Gender. Just because i wear female clothing and have facial hair (Which I cannot get rid of because I'm currently doing Laser Hair Removal and my face hurts), does not give you the right to treat me like dirt. I am expressing myself the only way I know how.

I am sick of people treating me like shit because I look different and I'm not what you consider "normal". What is normal anyways? And for all of you people out there who think Halifax is wonderful, I implore you to open your eyes and look around.

As soon as I pay off the five grand I owe, I'm out of here.

---Sick of Halifax
