In the second instance, are the signs even permitted? Has Kool FM paid HRM a fee to put these sign in on public property? Do we really want to live with these signs in our community? I do not.
It should be noted that the city sent a by law officer around to require a group of small shops to apply for sign permits for their sandwich board style signs that they put out on the street everyday. The form was 3 pages long and many shops were declined the permits. Given the city's rule, Kool FM should require a permit for every sign.
