Medical Ethics?

After reading in a national newspaper about a trend in 'fetal reductions' performed on mothers carrying twins who don't want the 'inconvenience' of having two babies, I have to wonder, how do you ever justify to your child choosing to kill his or her twin sister or brother? How would that make someone feel? Knowing their parents chose to terminate their sibling for convenience's sake, when it could just have easily been their life that was discarded. Grieving for one's terminated twin and the life that should have been. Terminating a fetus for convenience just seems wrong. —Hell In A Handbasket
