Teen Suicide Task Force

There have been teen suicides due to cyber bullying appearing frequently over the news recently. The province has also just announced the fruition of a special 'task force' to deal with cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is not a new phenomenon; it has been a part of some teenagers' lives since they were old enough to use a computer or cell phone. My question is, why now are the teen suicides 'prompting' the province to form a 'special' task force to deal with cyber bullying? Don't get me wrong, I am extremely glad that the province has finally stepped into action, but what were they waiting for? The number of teens committing suicide to pass a certain number? After the very first suicide due to cyber bullying came to the province's attention, they then should have been 'prompted' to create this task force. How many lives could have been saved had the government been 'prompted' into action sooner? —Just A Student
