I know that this is a done to death bitch, that everyone complains about it, but seriously can someone, anyone, explain to me why I can't sit on the grass in the Public Gardens? On this first truly nice day of the year, I couldn't resist the beautiful lush grass and decided to live on the wild side and sit under a tree and read. It was great. Then someone came and told me to move, I can go sit in the appropriately designated grass area. Oh, you mean that square with no trees, flowers, fountains, or anything in it? Thanks!
What is the big deal? How much damage can it do? Do you have any idea how much tax money goes into the meticulous landscaping in that park and I can't even walk up to the flower beds and smell the roses? It's not like I want to start playing rugby or something in there, I just want to sit down, maybe even LIE DOWN. Whoa! This really needs to change. —Some Dead Horses Need Beating
