Get the hell over yourself!

I don't understand why you are so conceited. Is it because you have your own apartment when a lot of people your age don't? Is it because you have a university commerce degree and are getting even more education on top of that? You're so sure that because you'll have human resource mgmt (from your degree) AND accounting (from community college) that you'll "stand out" amongst the masses of grads and land yourself that lovely place in an accounting firm. I will laugh come this May when you graduate and are still waiting tables. And trust me, you will still be waiting tables, or doing some other menial job, even a year from now. You think you're so educated, smart, confident, and charming that 10, 15, 20 years from now (you're 25) you'll be in this big-shot position, bringing in the dough.

Here's your reality check, girlie: Your education won't get you a good job because you don't have any connections and you're really not all that bright. How do I know you're not that bright? You got laid off from your job! I also know a LOT of people who went to uni, and they're not exactly intelligent! I think you confuse confidence with cockiness, and as far as charm is concerned, hun, you don't have an ounce of it. How charming can you be if you only have 2 good friends? You don't even have an effing boyfriend! Supposedly, you're ok with the single life. But that's a good thing for you, I guess, because your looks are only ok/moderately attractive and... well re-read what I just wrote! Have fun staying unemployed for the rest of the semester (since you refuse to work in fast food) and enjoy that future eviction from your apartment when you're no longer able to pay your rent! —Your Reality Check
