How am I getting home now?

I have been taking the a certain bus in Nova Scotia since I was just turning 12 years old, I am now 22, so for over 10 years. I've taken it fairly regularly, depending on my age, obviously much more once I was older. As someone whom has relied on this service to be able to attend events and travel out of a small community I am very disappointed in seeing it abolished. Now that I have moved to a more urban area, I want to be able to go see my family three hours away. I know many college students and young adults who do not drive or cannot afford a car rely on this service to visit family and friends, and most other modes of travel are extremely expensive. I've seen the buses so packed that taxis had to be called before, so it would seem to me that this service is in demand. I'm just quite upset that I now have no way home for Christmas, and many others whom live away from their family probably won't either since the service is so cold-heartedly closing right before the holidays. I'm sure there are layoffs, cutbacks and trip departures they could cut to save them the "12 million" they've lost in 8 years. This is just ridiculous, a six person shuttle or two isn't going to cover the amount of people who need to travel. —Probably Spending The Holidays Alone
