Where are all the GP Psychotherapists?

Back where I came from, you could see a psychotherapist under the government health program (i.e. OHIP in Ontario) just like you would if you caught the flu, broke your arm or had an infection. They were called GP Psychotherapists. Since moving to NOva Scotia, I really need professional help in dealing with the bullshit that this province deals out on a daily basis - issues around personalities in the work place, dealing with the stress of terrible incomes etc. I can't afford a psychologist at my salary, my benefits plan covers enough for maybe one and a half visits and now I did a search for GP Psychotherapists in Nova Scotia and the result is Nil... no wonder everyone here is so fucked up - you cant even get help if you ask for it. My issues are minor and I still need help - I can't imagine those poor people here who have serious mental problems. —Grass is always greener in Ontario
