Dear fellow humans of Halifax; I'm a friendly sort of person. I don't mind making small talk with strangers at the bus stop, the doctor's office, the DMV, or any other place where people are forced to cool their heels in close proximity. We can chat about the weather, or sports, or the city's snow removal performance. Even politics isn't off the table as long as you're not batshit insane. But unless I know you well, by which I mean you are a member of my immediate family or circle of close friends, I do not want to know about your health problems. At all. That shit is private. —Too nice, maybe?
