I watched you as you took your dog out of the car full of four children in front of the Liquor Store. Your beautiful young German Shepherd dog. Choking itself full force on a choke chain. Please throw that torture tool in the garbage and give your poor dog’s windpipe a break. Please teach your children something other than to dominate helpless creatures by force. Please train your dog by humane methods, or please surrender that lovely animal to the SPCA so someone can properly look after it. Dogs are so intelligent and willing to please their humans, there is no need to hurt them. It was appalling to watch that display. —Speaking for Those who Can't Speak for Themselves
