p.s. i love you, Halifax

Posted on Fri, Nov 6, 2009 at 12:11 PM

Dear Halifax,
It sure has been quite the ride! These past four years have flown by, really.

So many memories, so many parties, so many crazy nights, so much heartbreak, so much love, so much laughter, so many tears! When I look back at my time in this one-of-a-kind, one helluva city...I do not regret anything for a second.

I came here at nineteen basically on a whim. I had a gut feeling that this is where I needed to be. And damn, was I ever right! I regret not spending a single summer here...but hey, I'm still young, and you never know when I will be back!

Through all the good byes, I never realized that this one would feel so real and so permanent. Of course, nothing is set in stone. But either way, it truly does feel as though a profound chapter in my life is ending. It is a beautiful thing!

Thank you to everyone and everything that ever impacted me here - both positive and negative. You've helped me more than you'll ever know...and for that I am forever grateful. I have grown more as a person than I thought was possible...and I am excited for what life has in store for me!

Vini, vidi, vici. Thank you Halifax! Sianhara, adios, au revoir, a bientot, ameusaganalo! Fare thee well.
always, xoxoxoxo
