Thanks for making my day. You made my awesome veggie-filled wrap perfectly, then you cracked a joke about it being a sub-compact car. When you rolled it you made a car accident joke, and immediately appologized. Never appologize for being geuinely nice and funny. I was having a crappy day and you totally changed that. The wrap was delicious too.

I won't name your route or locale just in the off chance that you were violating some asinine Metro Transit regulation. But, for the driver who spent his layover feeding bits of his sandwich to a flock of corbies today, may your path be free of obstacles and your coach free of douchebags. The guys in black feathers certainly appreciated it and Boy Howdy, so did I.

Hey Coast,

Thanks again for picking me to win tickets to the Tegan & Sara concert on Wednesday. I had a wonderful time and it's all thanks to you!

Fuck, you just made this homo very happy. You had the wrong apartment but wanted ID to make sure I was who I claimed to be. Did my BDSM stuff catch your eye after you walked in? Glad to see we both use handcuffs on a daily basis.

Now, gotta ask - can I invite you over for some off-duty fun? The 15 minute whack off session to your mental images was great before heading back to work. Thanks!

This is a whole pile of love for my friends, who saw a cat crossing the road and then getting hit by a car. They went door to door with the injured cat and nobody owned her, so they took her to an animal hospital.

This is another pile of love to the folks at Basinview Aminal Hospital, who have taken care of the kitty, named her Cara, and took her to PEI's Atlantic Veterinary Hospital to get her broken pelvis repaired. They are willing to absorb the cost themselves but are fundraising to recoup some of the costs.

This is yet another pile of love for all those who have donated money already, including my co-worker, and the friends who originally found Cara. Because of your support, Basinview will likely not have to absorb the complete cost of Cara's health care.

And now - some love to whoever ends up adopting the adorable Cara, who will hopefully have a long and complication-free, fulfilling life in a loving home.

Thank you to the person(s) responsible for the googly eyes on the Cunard Street billboard across from the Armouries. I haven't laughed so hard in a looong time.

I want to send some love to the Halifax Council (at least the 13 of the 23 members) that voted against the new property tax reform that was going to start charging property taxes based on services and not property values. THANK YOU! You saved the average family from further financial woes. The new system would have seen the property taxes for the richest homes fall sharply while the average family would see sharp increases in their property tax bills. I hope you all get rewarded for your logical decision. I know I will sleep better.
